Unimog Fuel Injection and Distributorless Ignition
I have the water temp sensor mounted, the throttle body only need the mounting holes slightly enlarged, the
exhaust sensor was easy other then the I ended up removing the exhaust system. The crankshaft trigger wheel was a lot easer to mount than I thought it would be, but I needed to fab a holder for the crank trigger sensor. That took
about 8 hours. I have the electric fuel pump mounted, the map sensor mounted, and the computer mounted. Now I'm in the process of reworking the wire harness to fit
the mog. This system originally came from a 6 cylinder jeep. I need to add a return fuel line to the fuel tank. . It will take me about a week to dial in all of the
setting with the laptop. I have also been
converting my mog to 12 volts a little at a time. So while the exhaust is out I am changing the starter to 12 volts, but this has been the biggest problem finding the right starter. Even Bosch is a little confused. I
installed
a new polished Delco 150 amp alternator used on semi trucks, giving me plenty of
out put to add off road light and wenches. The mounting is simple using the old mounts from the generator. If you have any questions or comments please
email
me.
Thanks for looking,
