PISTACHIO ENCRUSTED
BASS FILETS
INGREDIENTS
2 Cups Hook to Cook Fish Coating
½ Cup Hook to Cook Pre Dip *
1 Cup water
1 Cup flour
1 Cup finely chopped Pistachio Nuts
Bass filets, 2 medium per person
Cooking Oil
METHOD
Put flour in medium size paper bag. Add several filets at a time and shake to coat. Shake off excess flour. Place on plate. Continue until all filets are coated.
In shallow dish, mix Pre-Dip with water using a whisk until smooth. Coat each filet with Pre-Dip, making sure all dry surfaces are coated.
In another medium size bowl add the chopped pistachio nuts to the Hook to Cook Fish Coating, stirring together until well mixed. Coat each piece of fish evenly.
When all are coated, heat oil and fry until golden brown. Serve immediately.
